A few years ago Emily Henderson asked Rebecca if she would make a custom piece of artwork for her home inspired by this pillow (which was on the cover of Emily's book!) Rebecca created the piece by potato printing, a technique she also used to make this fabric.
Potato printing is a really easy and fun way to make a mark. You can learn how to potato print Rebecca's book Living with Pattern or see more ways to make a mark here.
If getting your hands dirty doesn't excite you, there is another way to get the look of this one-of-a-kind artwork. Order a yard or two of the Hills Fabric and have it either stretched over canvas or framed like Emily did above. Emily Henderson used Framebridge but we also recommend SimplyFramed. Because this fabric is hand-screen printed it has a similar variation in pressure and tone that you get from doing it with a potato by hand.
