Interior Designer We Love: EditedStyle

Posted by: Nellie Laskow

One of the things that I enjoy most about my job is working with our wonderful interior design clients. I'm always so excited to see our products in a real home! You can see all our the posts in our Interior Designers We Love series here

We were so excited when Edited Style used our Ombré Stripe fabric in their client's home. Hear more from the designer about this project and see pictures below.

"This kitchen was part of a larger kitchen/mudroom/wet bar renovation. It was a major overhaul that we were able to pull off without adding square footage to the house. With a few smart design choices (the location of an exterior door in the kitchen was moved from one wall to another and a hallway closet and center island were eliminated to gain precious space in the kitchen), we were able to put in a table and banquette and gain so much more usable space. When it became clear that we didn't have the wall space for the client’s dream--a double wall oven and a cooktop—we found a way to two have two ovens by instead designing in a range and a single wall oven."

"Pattern adds depth and drama to a design. I always use pattern and texture as contrasts in a design scheme. The nubby texture of one fabric enhances the pattern of another. The same goes for juxtaposition of finishes: the contrast of brushed hardware and shiny glass light fixtures make each stand out more."
