One of the things that I enjoy most about my job is working with our wonderful interior design clients. I'm always so excited to see our products in a real home! You can see all our the posts in our Interior Designers We Love series here.
This is one of my favorite spotlights in our Interior Designer We Love series because of who it's for: a nurse who takes care of sexual assault victims. Metal + Petal did an amazing job creating her a gorgeous study for her to do work at home. It's beautiful, a bit feminine and super calming. See more below and hear from Metal + Petal about their project.
From Metal + Petal:
"We used Rebecca’s fabric for the custom made drapes mixed with a Schumacher wallpaper to create a focal wall. We added in a central light with wooden beads and a very tailored sofa. we mixed natural elements inspired by nature with beautiful hues. The navy lacquer accent chairs are fabulous and complete the sitting area. Mixing metals and wood finishes allows the space to look up to date and pulled together. We used acrylic rods to complete the look and showcase the beautiful drapes. "
"We used this gorgeous fabric sewn into drapery panels to soften the room, as the room is for a sophisticated nurse who takes care of sexual assault victims. She works long hours and handles tough cases. She wanted a beautiful space that was just hers to retreat into at night to complete her paperwork. Using nature as an inspiration for this space, we pulled colors from the wallpaper and accented it with soft, beautiful hues. The natural vibe of the Atwood fabric allows the room to come together in a modern way that is calming, inviting, and elegant."
