Oakland, California Photo Diary

For this month's Inspiration post, I wanted to share photos from a recent trip I took to Oakland, California. I spent some time walking around the hilly neighborhood and looking at all the beautiful homes and plants.

To Do:

Tilden Regional Park: This park has a great view of San Fransico. I recommend hiking on the trails and swimming in Lake Anza.

Black Swan Books: This bookstore sells more than just books—you can find small trinkets, records, postcards, and other little treasures.

Grand Lake Theatre: Historical theatre in the Grand Lake Neighborhood of Oakland. My favorite part is the roof sign that lights up at night.

Owl and Company Bookstore: Another cute bookstore on Piedmont Avenue. This store has books filled from floor to ceiling! I felt like I was stepping into someone's personal and extensive library.

Piedmont Fabric: Fabrics + Trims.

Spectator Books: More Books!

To Eat:

La Farine Boulangerie Patisserie: The cutest French bakery that's been around since 1977.

Orchids Thai: I recommend the Pad Thai, Drunken noodles, and coconut soup. This place is cozy and cute!

The Wolf: Treat yourself to a nice dinner.
