This October in the Store

It's officially Fall, and we couldn't be more excited for the change in the season.

It might still be 80 degrees here in New York, but we can tell that cooler weather is (hopefully!) just around the corner. There’s nothing better than getting cozy at home, and this is the perfect time to start adding in layers to your bedding. We recently introduced two new patterns into our bedding collection, and you can experience everything in person here at the shop. We even have washed samples so you can feel just how soft the fabric gets over time. As lovers of pets and children, we know just how important washability can be.

There are lots of fun events coming up this month, and we’re excited to share them with you! First, we are hosting two Potato Printing workshops on 10/10 & 10/24. This is the technique that Rebecca used to create our classic Hills pattern, and we will be teaching you how to do it yourself on one of our tote bags. This is a great project you can do at home on a larger scale to make a one of a kind art piece like this one Rebecca created for Emily Henderson.

On Friday 10/12, organic baby bedding and accessories brand Lewis will be popping up in our store for one day only. They'll have all the nursery essentials plus an eye mask giveaway for the first 20 customers to shop the pop up!

Thursday 10/18 is the launch of our new event series: The Art of Making. In these events, we are showcasing some of our favorite makers and taking a peek into their design process. We are thrilled to start things off with Ivy Weinglass, the talented Brooklyn-based designer behind IIIVVVYYY. Come sip on wine and shop exclusive items, while learning more about the world of ceramics from the creator herself.

As always, you can learn more about our events and RSVP on our Visit Us page. We can't wait to see you soon!
