Lead Operations Associate

Rebecca Atwood Designs is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as our Summer 2024 Operations Intern in a part time capacity (2-3 days/week or 16-24 hours/week) for about three months starting in May or June. We are looking for someone who will assist our Operations Team with shipping and fulfillment, studio projects, and administrative tasks.

• Fulfill swatch orders from the studio.
• Ship items such as travel assets for sales meetings, new developments to vendors, books, and press gifts.

• Perform swatch management tasks, such as processing and filing returns, checking in new deliveries, and coordinating fabric recycling and/or donation.
• Execute projects including organizing inventory of display pieces, filing
development cuttings, and scanning artwork.

• Assist with organization projects both in the office space and art studio.

• Administrative tasks may include:

-Supporting the Operations Team with general research projects regarding
vendors and supply ordering.
-Proofreading and reviewing internal guides for clarity.
-Assisting with system maintenance and vendor communication.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Empathy and an ability to understand the needs of our customers, vendors, and team members.
• Curiosity to learn.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Zoom, and Google Workplace. Ready to learn our shipping and inventory management platforms as well.
