Introducing: Shop by Mood

Posted by Sydney Hubert

When Rebecca was decorating her own home, the first thing she did before she chose a single paint color was map out the mood. She wanted the living room to be cozy, the kitchen to be airy, the sunroom to be playful and colorful. She wasn’t sure exactly what she wanted in each room, but she knew how she wanted to feel. She let the moods guide her.

Mood is one of our most valuable design tools. It helps us talk about what we want to achieve in an intuitive, meaningful way. We remember how rooms we love made us feel. Looking for colors, patterns, and textures that evoke our feelings is how we create authentic, memorable spaces. That’s why mood boards are so important. They’re where we play with ideas and discover combinations that spark something within us. It all starts with mood.

That’s why we’re so excited that you can now shop by mood on our website. We often hear from you with client requests for designs that feel coastal and traditional, romantic and soft, and more. So, we’ve curated collections of fabrics and wallpapers that speak to a range of moods. Whether you’re looking for airy, quiet, and spacious for a bedroom or deep, grounded, and moody ones for a library, we’ve made it easier to find exactly what you’re looking for.

We carefully consider how every new color and pattern we launch will help you set a mood and create nuanced, beautiful spaces. We hope this new tool opens up new possibilities for you.
