Creative Director + President
Rebecca is our artist-in-chief. From creating our patterns on the pages of her sketchbook to making big decisions about the business, she has her hand in everything we do. She grew up in Cape Cod, went to school for painting at Rhode Island School of Design, and has run her namesake business since 2013. After 8 beautiful years in New York City, she’s relocated her life and the RAD headquarters to Charleston, SC.

What home means to her
Home is where I recharge. It’s an environment that is grounded, filled with love, that soothes and supports my mind and body when I return to it each day.

Nellie Laskow
Nellie Laskow
Vice President of Sales + Marketing
Nellie takes RAD’s dreams and makes them a reality, from nitty gritty data analysis to big picture planning. A member of RAD since the launch of our very first fabric line in 2014, Nellie has built the sales and marketing strategy to take the company from a small textile line to a favorite resource for interior designers across the country. Nellie makes sure that every RAD customer is having the very best experience possible whenever they connect with us.

What home means to her
Home is where I can feel calm, safe and rested.

Sales Manager
Hannah is the friendly face you see when she does a firm visit and the person behind-the-scenes who answers customer texts and emails. She’s an expert at demystifying and simplifying the design process for our clients, and developing lasting relationships with our trade partners.

Steven Bernstein
Steven Bernstein
Vice President of Finance + General Counsel
Steve oversees all things finance and legal at RAD — and also happens to be Rebecca’s husband. After working at an NYC law firm for eight years, he officially joined the RAD team in 2020, though he’s been a behind-the-scenes supporter since its inception. His background in law and science (he studied engineering before getting into law), makes him essential to the parts of the business that require diligence and attention to detail.

How he uses RA at home:
When Rebecca and I first met, I only used solids in my apartment — beige and navy in particular. Suffice it to say I now live with — and love — a lot of pattern!

Sydney Hubert

Creative + Marketing Associate
As a Designer at RAD, Sydney creates visuals to inspire the interior designers and clients we work with, and helps tell the visual story of RAD from product conception to final development. She ensures our brand vision is executed consistently across all channels, from our graphic design and branding to product renderings and production set up.

Traveling and exploring, trying new restaurants, being on the water, hitting the beach with my black lab, River, and soaking up the beautiful landscape.
What home means to her
Home is a little sanctuary filled with all our favorite things — music, candles, soft blankets, and beautiful artwork — that awaken our senses and inspire us. To me, home must evoke a harmonious feeling. It’s also about inviting others in and spending time with loved ones to create cherished memories.

Lead Operations Associate
As a member of the Operations Team, Erin works behind the scenes to make sure our customers have the best possible experience. She collaborates with the Sales team to ensure all of the i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed regarding order fulfillment, production, and studio needs.

Putting on a record at dinnertime, swimming in the ocean in the late afternoon, Hampton Park walks, art that makes me feel something (Alice Neel’s portraits, Manet’s last flower paintings, poems by Ada Limón, and Nancy Meyers’ romcoms), and linen all year.

Home is where I can express myself fully and feel things deeply.

Bekah Bradford
Bekah Bradford
Sales Assistant
A member of the Sales Team, Bekah oversees customer relationship management and assists with client communication, planning events and other sales tasks. She is also the main point of contact for local designers and will happily deliver swatches or provide help with whatever a client needs.

Operations Intern (Summer 2024)

Position

Rebecca Atwood Designs is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as our Summer 2024 Operations Intern in a part time capacity (2-3 days/week
or 16-24 hours/week) for about three months starting in May or June. We are looking for someone who will assist our Operations Team with shipping and fulfillment, studio projects, and administrative tasks.
