Please check our wallpaper product pages under 'Product Details' if you cannot find an answer below.

Is there a minimum order?

We have a wallpaper order minimum of 5-yards. For orders under 15 yards, a $75 set up fee is included in the shipping costs.

Is there a lead time?

You can find all the details on the product pages of our website. Most of our wallpapers are made to order (rush printing is also available). We do have a selection of in-stock wallpapers that can be found here.

What are your shipping prices?

You can find a shipping chart here for fabric and wallpaper. For international shipping, please contact us for a quote.

How much wallpaper should I order?

We recommend hiring a wallpaper installer—they are the best resource to ask about how much wallpaper you need for the space you are wallpapering. If you have the measurements of the walls you can use this calculator to come up with an initial rough estimate, but we strongly recommend confirming with your installer before ordering. When in doubt, we advise rounding up to avoid the potential lead time and expense of a reorder. You can learn more about our best practices for calculating yardage here. We are unable to provide exact yardage estimates or conversions. Please note that our wallpaper is sold by the linear yard (not by the roll).

How do I install wallpaper?

We recommend working with a professional wallpaper installer. To learn more you can see wallpaper being installed in Rebecca's own home in this video. You can find our instructions for clay-coated paper here and printed grasscloth here (these will also be included in your order).

Why does your wallpaper come untrimmed?

Untrimmed wallpaper allows installers to have more control when matching seams and provides an allowance when navigating variances in surface the paper is being installed on. It also gives us room to print join markers, helping to show how the pattern should be aligned during installation. Finally, having the extra selvage provides additional protection to our wallpaper during shipment.

What are the dimensions of your wallpaper?

Please refer to the product page under 'Specs' to find the width of the wallpaper you are interested in. Our wallpaper includes a selvedge, so "printed width" refers to the measurements of the printed portion of the wallpaper (not including the selvedge). Our wallpaper is sold by the linear yard (not by the roll).

Is X” or X” the horizontal or vertical repeat?

Our repeats are listed horizontal by vertical. So a 27”x42” repeat is 27” horizontal and 42” vertical. Please refer to the product page under 'Specs' for repeat matches and be sure to note to your installer if it’s a straight match or a half drop.

Do you print ½ yards?

Unfortunately, we are not able to print or cut half yards. All orders should be rounded up.

Are your wallpapers printed in a continuous piece?

Our printers always aim to print the entirety of orders of 70 yards or fewer in one piece. However, we are not able to guarantee that an order will be printed continuously. In the very rare event that our printers need to split an order, they ensure the second piece is at least 5 yards and include an extra yard or so to offset any loss that may occur because of where the first bolt ended. We are unable to accommodate specific cut length requests. Please refer to the product page under 'Specs' for specific details.

Can your wallpaper be used in a bathroom?

Yes! See more here. Most of our wallpapers are printed on a wipeable clay-coated paper. This ground has been used in a variety of residential applications (including bathrooms) by many of our clients in the past. For a powder room or low-traffic guest bathroom, our standard wallpaper is a great option. We also offer a custom performance wallpaper ground that is perfect for a more high-traffic residential application (like a primary bathroom or playroom).

Can I match a fabric and wallpaper pattern?

Due to the different production natures of fabric and wallpaper, we are unable to guarantee an exact match between a fabric and wallpaper pattern. When creating our collection we carefully consider how each pattern will look best once it is translated to a specific medium. Our patterns are meant to be mixed and matched, and we would be happy to help advise on a pattern or color that would coordinate with your project.

Can I order archived (discontinued) wallpaper?

We can accomodate orders of archived digitally-printed wallpaper with a 15-yard minumum. Please reach out for a quote. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer discontinued screen-printed wallpaper at this time.

Can you do commercial quality wallpaper?

We can print on residential performance ground, or a commercial-grade Type II vinyl. Refer to our Custom FAQ below for more details.

Can you provide more information regarding your lead times + pricing?

Our paper is produced by a small family owned and operated printer in Connecticut and is printed to order. With digital printing, we are able to translate the painterly feeling of Rebecca's original artwork. We love the quality and care that goes into this product, but we completely understand it might not be the right fit for every budget or every project.

Fabric

Resources

Please check our fabric product pages under 'Product Details' if you cannot find an answer below.

Is there a minimum order?

We have a fabric order minimum of 5-yards. For orders under 3 yards, a $35 handling fee is included in the shipping costs.

Is there a lead time?

You can find all the details on the product pages of our website. Some of our fabrics are made to order, but we do carry stock of many of our patterns. In-stock fabrics can be found here.

What are your shipping prices?

You can find a shipping chart here for fabric and wallpaper. For international shipping, please contact us for a quote.

How much fabric should I order for my project?

We recommend consulting a professional workroom in your area, as they will be the best to advise you on the amount of yardage that will be required for the specific needs of your project. Be sure to provide the workroom with the pattern repeat and information on the product listing. If unsure, we recommend ordering a little extra just in case. While we always do our best, we cannot guarantee an exact color match on future reorders. We are unable to provide exact yardage estimates.

Are your fabrics upholstery grade?

We recommend that if in doubt, you opt for one of our wovens or performance fabrics, which are heavier weight and designed with upholstery in mind. Our other fabrics are suitable for some upholstery, but whether it will work for your project depends on the specifics of your piece and its use. While many customers have used our prints for upholstery with great results, some of our customers prefer to knit back or treat the linen first. The best person to consult is your upholsterer.

We do not recommend upholstering with our embroidered fabrics.

What are the dimensions of your fabric?

Please refer to the product page under 'Specs' to find the width of the fabric you are interested in. Some of our fabrics include a selvedge, so "printed width" refers to the measurements of the printed portion of the fabric (not including the selvedge). Our fabric is sold by the yard.

Do you sell ½ yards?

Unfortunately, we are not able to print or cut half yards. All orders should be rounded up.

Is X” or X” the horizontal or vertical repeat?

Our repeats are listed horizontal by vertical. So a 27”x42” repeat is 27” horizontal and 42” vertical for repeating.

Special note for Leaves, Brushstroke, and Mixed Stripe: The large repeat of these patterns do not match from selvedge to selvedge. For curtains, we recommend either not matching the print and hiding the seams in a pleat or ordering additional yardage to accommodate for the repeat.

Will my order ship in a continuous piece?

Most orders are able to ship in a continuous piece. If you have specific minimum length requirements please feel free to let us know.

Due to the production nature of screen-printed fabrics, we are not able to guarantee that orders over 25-yards will be able to ship in one continuous piece.

We are unable to guarantee that orders of sale fabric will be able to ship in one continuous piece.

Is your fabric Railroaded or Up The Roll?

"Railroaded" means that the pattern runs across the roll from selvage to selvage (or horizontally parallel to the bolt). "Up The Roll" means that the pattern runs vertically and continuously up the roll. For example, Market Stripe is "Up The Roll" while Painted Stripe is "Railroaded".

Can I still order an archived (discontinued) fabric?

You can order archived digitally-printed fabric through our Archive Collection. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer most archived screen-printed, woven, or embroidered fabric at this time. If you have any questions about a specific pattern, please feel free to reach out.

Pillows

+
Do you make custom pillows?

We do not offer custom pillows, however we do have a some options that we hope might work. You can find our selection of made-to-order pillows here. These pillows are sewn individually from a large selection of our fabrics, and have a production lead time of 2-4 weeks. If none of these options work for you, we recommend ordering yardage and having a custom pillow made by a local workroom.

What type of insert comes with my pillow?

All of our pillows have a lofty 10/90 down feather insert inside. If you have an allergy or aversion please email sales@rebeccaatwood.com. to find out about our alternative fill options.

What size should I order?

Please note that our made-to-order pillows are produced using a "tapered corner" technique to avoid a dog-ear (pointed corner) look. This means that the measurement from corner to corner will be about .5" to 1.5" smaller than the measurement from seam to seam across the belly of the pillow. We also use inserts that are about 1”-2” larger than the measurement of the pillow cover, which helps to give the pillow a plump appearance. We love the full and polished look these techniques give our pillows, but this does mean that the pillow may appear slightly smaller than the measurements indicate. Please keep this in mind when selecting the appropriate size for your project.
