Creative Marketing Assistant; Full-time position.

Reports to

VP of Sales & Marketing

Position Purpose

This role supports the execution of the visual expression of the Rebecca Atwood brand across marketing channels.

As our Creative Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with the VP of Sales + Marketing, Creative Director, and external agency partners to bring marketing initiatives to life. This includes supporting visual asset preparation, image selection, content execution, and maintaining organized marketing systems.

This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role for someone with strong visual taste who enjoys both creative work and structured execution.

Key Responsibilities &Accountabilities

Visual Assets + Marketing Execution:

• Support the creation, preparation, resizing, and formatting of visual assets across digital and print marketing channels

• Take product shots and detail shots of all incoming fabrics

• Create product renderings (pillows, wallpaper, and install visuals) using existing templates

• Regularly refresh website visuals and product pages to keep the site current and engaging

• Support updates to PDPs, including imagery, tags, and product details

• Design internal documents and marketing materials for the team as needed

• Provide feedback on swatchbacks and tearsheets to determine whether layouts need to be updated

Visual Direction + Image Management

Image Organization and Acquisition:

• Select, prepare, and lightly edit imagery for use across marketing channels (color, crop, tone)

• Maintain a clean, organized Product and Photography library on Dropbox with properly labeled and accessible assets

• Assist in sourcing and organizing installation imagery from designers and partners, securing usage rights, and distributing approved imagery across marketing channels

• Analyze performance of Operations, warehouse, and vendor activities to promote accuracy, efficiency, and productivity (including product development, shipping, communication, and production schedules). 

• Assist in the creation of wallpaper rendering plans for product launches

Support photoshoots through preparation and coordination with the freelance team

• Assist with shot list organization and reference gathering

• Partner with the operations team on logistics and asset tracking

Content and Social Support

• Schedule and publish content across the company's Instagram, Rebecca’s personal Instagram, and Pinterest

• Draft short captions or light copy as needed using existing brand materials • Create and reshare stories regularly.

• Capture supportive photography and video to support behind-the-scenes storytelling to use on social media

• Support email creation by preparing imagery, assisting with layout, and drafting subject lines or light copy as needed.

• Build and publish blog posts using the provided copy, pairing text with imagery and layout

Collaboration + Workflow:

• Work closely with the VP of Sales + Marketing, Creative Director, and external marketing agency partners to support the execution of campaigns

• Prepare and organize assets for agency use

• Provide input on image selection and visual details to ensure alignment with brand standards

• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth communication and workflow

• Assist the Creative Director and copy editor with timelines for copy projects to ensure they’re being completed in time for product launches.

Qualifications

• You believe the story of design and production is just as important as the final product.
• Bachelor’s Degree (Graphic Design, Marketing, Interior Design, Photography or related
field preferred).
• 0-3 years of experience in a dynamic creative position.
• Strong visual sensibility and attention to detail
• Comfort working in a support role with multiple collaborators
• Ability to manage tasks and stay organized
• Interest in interiors, textiles, and design
• Required: Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign,
and Lightroom.
• Preferred: monday.com, Figma, Claude, Midjourney, and ChatGPT.
