Sales Representative, South Territory
Dallas, Houston or Austin, Texas (Work from Home)
VP of Sales & Marketing
-Increase trade revenue in Texas through weekly meetings with interior designers.
-Grow trade revenue with new and existing interior designer clients in the entire southern territory through outreach, video meetings, and travel.
-Execute our yearly sales strategy and provide timely reporting and feedback.
-Be one of the most customer-facing members of Rebecca Atwood and a representative of our company.
- Be available daily to local clients for meetings and drop-ins. Some travel to topmarkets in your territory.
- Execute open deal outreach for clients and follow up sales tasks for open orders daily.
- Connect clients with our sales associate for customer service and assist clients directly when necessary.
- Provide customer service email support when our sales associate is taking PTO, or sales task support when partner Sales Representatives are taking PTO.
- Provide feedback for collection outreach,
gifting, and other touchpoints.
- Represent Rebecca Atwood Designs at trade shows, industry events, and networking events, to build brand visibility and forge partnerships.
- Drive the development and execution of effective sales presentations and emails.
- Internal strategies or other factors that contributed to monthly sales revenue.
- Outstanding orders during a period.
- Customers who are exhibiting high lifetime value buying behavior.
- Customer knowledge gaps in our offerings orcapabilities.
- External factors that affected sales revenue.
- Provide any additional insights and recommendations on sales strategy changes, emerging trends, and untapped opportunities.
- Participate in bi-weekly 1:1s with partner Sales Sales Representatives to discuss opportunities, provide feedback, educate on RA customer or
territories, and collaborate on reporting.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, emerging trends, and best practices in sales.
- Maintain and update workflow and daily tasks on monday.com.
- Maintain work calendar and be available for communication on Slack daily.
- Participate in team-wide activities, discussions, brainstorms, workshops, and invitations for feedback.
- Contribute to a caring and growth-oriented team culture.
- Maintain a professional and open line of communication with customers and coworkers.
- Travel to our headquarters in CHS in January for the yearly kick-off.
Qualifications:
· Live in Dallas, Houston or Austin TX.
· 5+ year experience in trade sales in the home and/or home textile industry is a must.
· Have car and clean driving record.
· CRM (Hubspot, etc) and project management program (eg monday.com) experience.
· Bachelor's degree. A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not necessary.
· Proven track record of success in sales roles, preferably within the design, home decor, or related industry.
· Strong understanding of the design and home decor market.
· Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Strategic thinker with the ability to execute sales strategies and develop new ones.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities.
· Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving sales growth.
· Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
· Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
