Our made-to-order pillows are produced using a "tapered corner" technique to avoid a dog-ear (pointed corner) look. This means that the measurement from corner to corner will be about .5" to 1.5" smaller than the measurement from seam to seam across the belly of the pillow. We also use inserts that are about 1”-2” larger than the measurement of the pillow cover, which helps to give the pillow a plump appearance. We love the full and polished look these techniques give our pillows, but this does mean that the pillow may appear slightly smaller than the measurements indicate. Please keep this in mind when selecting the appropriate size for your project
