Thicket Fabricin Driftwood

 With the warmth and familiarity of a worn-in sweater, Thicket is a wool upholstery fabric with unexpected dreaminess. Rebecca’s first primarily wool fabric, Thicket’s name reflects its feeling: it’s thick and tightly woven, like dense brush or tangled growth. Fuzzy wool fibers create a hazy effect; akin to dry pastels, its tones softly blend, rather than reading as crisply as they might in cotton. DRIFTWOOD is a pleasing gray-brown with streaks of lilac, resulting in a nearly-neutral hue that invites layering.

Process
The weaving process brings dimension to a pattern and creates a luxe, textural feel. With a tight, melange-style weave, this woven fabric is made in large runs on a jacquard loom, at a specialty weaving factory in Jessup, Pennsylvania.
